About ten days ahead of Serie B, the Piacenza Baseball youth teams begin their adventure in their respective championships. The first to take to the pitch are the Under 18s, many of whom have already “tasted” the first team, who host Sala Baganza at De Benedetti on Wednesday 10 April (5pm). Their stage, until July, will be the tough Emilia Ovest group in which, every Wednesday midweek, they will also put up resistance against Crocetta Parma, Collecchio, Poviglio and Oltretorrente Parma.
A very demanding test which, however, fits perfectly with the company’s plan to bring as many young people as possible into the first team. In fact, several of them will share the role of starters in both championships, U18 and B. We will have to wait until Sunday morning to watch the U14 season opener. At Montesissa (10.30 am) they will host the Junior ducals. For them too, a group with Emilian features with opponents also Crocetta Parma, Sala Baganza and Poviglio.
