Phoenix Suns Sign Grayson Allen to Multiyear Deal

PHOENIX (AP) — The Phoenix Suns finalized a multiyear deal with Grayson Allen to remain with the team after he had the best season of his NBA career.

The deal, which was announced Tuesday, will be for four years and $70 million, according to ESPN.

Allen, 28, is averaging 13.5 points in his career and leads the NBA in shooting 46.1% from three. He was one of the Suns’ most consistent players, giving the team openness and constant long-distance shooting while stars Devin Booker, Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal found form for him.

The Suns are the top seed in the Conference and will face the Minnesota Timberwolves in the first round of the playoffs.

“I love being in Phoenix and believe in what we can accomplish here,” Allen said in a statement. “Thanks to Mat Ishbia and the organizer for accepting me. “I am excited to make a long-term commitment to stay with the community and continue building with the team.”

Allen is in his sixth season in the NBA and has played with the Utah Jazz, Memphis Grizzlies and Milwaukee Bucks. He played in college for Duke
