‘Patón’ Guzmán bothered him with a laser and Esteban Andrada insulted him

Monterrey, encouraged after eliminating Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami in midweek, finished better, although it was nullified by two timely departures from goalkeeper Carlos Felipe Rodríguez. The team insisted and in the 100th minute tied with a header, with another assist from Canales.

Monterrey rose to third place with 29 points and Tigres to seventh, with 25.

In addition, champion América beat Toluca 5-1 and jumped to first place, with two goals from Chilean Diego Valdés, another two from Colombian Julián Quiñones and one from Henry Martín.

América reached nine victories, five draws, one defeat and 32 points, three more than Toluca, Monterrey and Cruz Azul, which this Friday beat Puebla 0-1 with a well-taken penalty by Uriel Antuna.

In the other match this Saturday, the Chivas de Guadalajara of Argentine coach Fernando Gago beat Pachuca 1-0 as a visitor and rose to seventh place.

A goal against Jorge Berlanga marked the course of the duel, in which the Tuzos of Uruguayan coach Guillermo Almada added their third consecutive defeat in their stadium.

In the other results so far on matchday 15, this Friday Mazatlán beat Querétaro and Necaxa 0-2, and Santos Laguna 2-0.

Matchday 15 will conclude this Sunday with the Atlas-San Luis, Pumas UNAM-León and Juárez FC-Tijuana matches.
