“El Panda” a few weeks ago was invited by the La Bahía team to Spring Training in 2024. He was part of the team’s training sessions and was looking to get a space on the final roster for the Major League Opening Day. However, that could not be possible, since his performance was not as expected.
During the afternoon of this Saturday, April 6, the Staten Island Ferryhawks announced the hiring of the Venezuelan third baseman.
“The 2-time All-Star, 3-time World Series champion and 2012 World Series MVP is a .280 hitter with 153 home runs and 639 RBIs,” is how he was received in his new team. “Get ready for PANDA-MONIUM in Hawk City,” they wrote on their social networks.
