Outrage in ASEAN Countries over Cheating Scandal in Indonesian U-23 Match

tvOnenews.com – After the Indonesian U-23 national team was cheated by referee Nasrullo Kabirov, who led the Garuda Muda squad’s match against Qatar, ASEAN countries began to react.

The reason is that the squad coached by Shin Tae-yong received two red cards and one penalty which resulted in defeat against Qatar in the first Group A match of the 2024 U-23 Asian Cup at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium, Qatar, Monday (15/4/2024) evening.

That night, the Indonesian National Team lost 2-0 to the hosts.

This immediately shocked many countries and reacted hotly to the unnatural defeat of the Indonesian National Team.

Countries such as Thailand, Malaysia and Vietnam were furious at referee Nasrullah Kabirov’s decision which was considered detrimental to Indonesia.

Local Thai media also highlighted the red card received by Ivar Jenner. It was reported that All Things Thai Football was deemed to have only committed minor violations.

Even if you look clearly, Ivar Jenner did not commit a foul, but unfortunately referee Nasrullah Kabirov thought otherwise.
