In the continuation of the duel between Latvia and Turkey, the first numbers of the teams fought – Aļona Ostapenko (#10) beat Zejnepa Senmez (#159) with 2:6, 7:5 and 6:3.

In the third set, the Latvian player took the lead (3:0), the Turk reached 3:3, but Ostapenko won the remaining games.

Alyona Ostapenko/Darya Semenistaya and Berfu Cengiz/Ipek Eza were announced for the decisive doubles match.

In order to win the second place in the group and thus keep hope for the “play-off”, Latvia must win against Turkey today.
