By beating Alex De Minaur (7-5, 6-4), Novak Djokovic returns to the semi-finals of the Monte-Carlo tournament for the first time since 2015.
The Serbian did not tremble to reach the semi-finals of the Masters 1000 in Monte-Carlo. He calmly dismisses Alex De Minaur, in two sets (7-5, 6-4), and will find the winner of the match between Ugo Humbert and Casper Ruud.
The Serbian, usually less good in the first tournaments on clay, knows that it is important not to neglect preparation on this surface in this Olympic year.
