Nicholas Raudenski new head of the fight against technological fraud at the UCI

The International Cycling Union (UCI) announced in a press release on Wednesday that it had appointed Nicholas Raudenski as head of the fight against technological fraud. He replaces former Australian rider Michael Rogers. The new arrival, who will take office on May 1, has been responsible since 2021 for the investigations and intelligence department of the ITA (International Testing Agency), the independent body in charge of anti-doping operations for international federations.

Prior to that, Nicholas Raudenski had a career in the United States Department of Homeland Security and counterterrorism in New York. He then moved to FIFA and UEFA, where he worked on match-fixing in football, corruption and other ethical issues. Its new mission will largely consist of developing means of investigation and control to detect possible motors in bicycles.
