The mayor of naron, Marian Ferreirovisited this Tuesday in the company of the councilor of Works, Pablo Maurizthe works of construction of the new shooting range in the Río do Pozo industrial estate.
The project will involve an investment of slightly more than 400.000 euros and it will allow, as the councilwoman asserted, “to increase the offer of sports facilities in our city, with very complete ones for all people who practice archery, which will make it possible to meet another of the commitments made with the neighborhood”.
Regarding the progress of the works, part of an auxiliary building has already been erected which will house different spaces – reception area, warehouse, toilets…–. From the City Council they explain that the field It will have a shooting area, with a metal pergola and a track measuring 60×95 meters.

The action will be completed with the conditioning of the green area that surrounds the mentioned building and the protection measures that this type of facilities require. “In the coming months, this new construction will be operational for the use and enjoyment of those people who practice this sport in the city and also to organize events linked to it”, remarked Ferreiro.
