Good operation of the day: Sixers, Knicks, Mavs, Warriors, Clippers
With this victory in the money time against the Heat, the Sixers are less than a game behind Miami in eighth place in the East, and retain the possibility of going to the Playoffs without going through the play-in. This is a real shot that the Sixers have to play in the East. The Heat now have as many wins as the Sixers, who have a very cool schedule ahead. The Heat will have no room for error on Sunday against the Pacers, who have one more victory than them, if they do not want to go through the play-in. Also a good operation from the Knicks with a view to the podium in the East, while in the West the Clippers are firmly in fourth place, the Mavs in fifth, and the Warriors in tenth, after having definitively put the Rockets on the ropes.
Bad operation of the day: Kings, Heat and Rockets, Nuggets
It was an opportunity for the Kings to prove that they could get on a good path before the Playoffs, and well it was missed. Not the first time they have completely dropped a game this season, and the Kings are now prey to the Lakers who are not going to hold back to take their eighth place and potentially have one less game to play in the play-in. The Heat also missed a great opportunity in the East by losing to the Sixers, while the Rockets said goodbye to their sweet dream of play-in and the Nuggets left the Wolves alone at the top of the Conference.
