NBA, many verdicts at stake for the Playoffs and Play-Ins with one day to go before the end of the regular season

There are still many verdicts to be written on the Playoff and Play-in scoreboard, when we are just one day away from the end of the NBA regular season.

Thunder, Timberwolves and Nuggets lead the Western Conference with 56 wins, with OKC favored by head-to-head win %. It is the first time in history that there has been a tie between three teams at this point in the regular season.

WESTERN CONFERENCE

I Thunder they climb to first place after the victory over the Bucks. OKC wins the three-way matchup with Minnesota and Denver thanks to the better head-to-head win-loss record. THE Timberwolves they remain at no. 2 after the win over the Hawks. THE Nuggets they drop to 3rd place after the bloody defeat against Spurs. Denver is third in the 3-way playoff thanks to its worst head-to-head record with the other two teams. THE Clippers get the No. 1 seed. 4 despite the loss to the Jazz. LA will have the advantage of playing the first round of the playoffs at home. THE Mavericks they got the No. 1 seed. 5 after the loss to the Pistons. THE Pelicans they remain in 6th place after the victory over the Warriors. New Orleans leads Phoenix by 1 game. THE Suns they remain in 7th place after the victory over the Kings. THE Lakers they rose to no. 8 after the victory over the Grizzlies and the defeat of the Kings. Los Angeles leads Sacramento (9th) and Golden State (10th) by one game, but would not have an advantage in any of the playoffs. It will therefore be fundamental to win against the Pelicans. THE Kings they drop to no. 9 after the loss to the Suns. Sacramento has the head-to-head head-to-head with Golden State and Los Angeles, but is trailing the Lakers by 1 game. THE Warriors they drop to 10th place after the defeat against the Pelicans. Golden State loses head-to-head with the Kings.

EASTERN CONFERENCE

I Bucks they remain at no. 2 despite the defeat against the Thunder. Milwaukee has the playoff in their favor with the Knicks. THE Knicks they remain at no. 3 after the win over the Nets. New York is 1 game ahead of fourth place Cleveland. THE Cavaliers they remain in 4th place and gain the playoffs and the fourth seed thanks to the victory over the Pacers. THE Magic they remain in 5th place despite the defeat against the Sixers. Orlando has the head-to-head playoff with the Pacers and wins the three-way playoff with Indiana and Philadelphia. THE Pacers they remain in 6th place despite the defeat against the Cavaliers. Indiana gets the better of Philadelphia in the head-to-head playoff and takes 2nd place in a 3-way playoff with these teams. THE Sixers they remain in 7th place after the victory over the Magic. Philadelphia has the better of Orlando in the head-to-head playoff but would be in 3rd place if it were a 3-way tie with the Magic and Pacers. The Heat they remain at no. 8 after the win over the Raptors. Miami is 1 game behind the Sixers.

All 30 NBA franchises will be on the pitch tomorrow, with the games scheduled to start at 7pm and 9.30pm Italian time.
