Departure and arrival at altitude (1800 m, at the Gilberti Refuge) will allow us to make full use of the natural stadium called Conca Prevala, at the foot of Mount Canin, an area suitable for off-piste skiing until late in the season.

The race, which will start at 10.00 am, will take place on a route with technical climbs, 12 set-up changes, 2 sections on foot, including the characteristic and unique passage in the “Foro” of Monte Forato, it is a guarantee of true ski mountaineering and entertainment.

Special events also for the public, who will be able to go up to the Gilberti Refuge using the cable car and from here follow much of the race, cheering and applauding the athletes who will compete for victory. Between one passage and another, there will be the opportunity to taste local delicacies and admire the natural spectacle that the territory of the Julian Prealps Park offers.

The program includes two other events, in addition to the historic pairs race on Saturday

We will be there on Friday evening Vertical Race, Uphill-only race along the slope open to both those who climb on skis and those who wish to climb with crampons. The route has a length of 3 km with 650 m D+ of uphill only which from Sella Nevea reaches the Gilberti refuge. The descent is mandatory with the lifts.

On Sunday there will be space for the younger ones, with the first edition of the Canin Young ski mountaineering, a promotional ski mountaineering event dedicated to boys and girls aged between 10 and 17, who fall into the U12, U14, U16 and U18 categories. Routes and differences in height dedicated to them according to FISI regulations.
