Monclova, Coah.- The Monclonese duo made up of Sebastián García and Dafne Quinteroincreased the Mexican harvest for Mexico in the Pan American Archery Championship which is taking place in Medellín, Colombia, after winning Gold and Silver yesterday.
García rose to the top of the podium after winning the end of the Individual Composite Bow to the Guatemalan José del Cid in the Final, while Dafne fell in the Final against the North American Alexis Ruiz, to take silver in the same category but in the women’s branch.
This was the second Gold medal for Sebastián, who had already won the men’s team category, as had Quintero, who won bronze in the women’s teams.
Premian and Daphne
During the Pan American in Medellín, the World Archery yesterday awarded the best athletes of 2023, among whom Dafne Quintero from Monclova stood out, crowned as the best compound bow archer on the American continent.
