MLB Baseball Agent for Bad Bunny’s Firm Loses Certification

NY. A baseball agent for the artist Bad Bunny’s firm Rimas Sport lost his certification with the Major League Baseball (MLB) Players Association.

The union declined to comment Friday on the reason for its decision to revoke William Arroyo’s right to represent MLB players.

“At Rimas Sports we maintain the highest standards of professionalism and integrity in our industry. Respecting the ongoing process, as provided by the MLBPA Agent regulations, we will reserve any comments related to the process at this time. “We remain committed to continuing to serve our customers with excellence.”

Arroyo preferred not to comment at the moment, but said he would say something about it soon.

The decision is subject to an appeal to a member of the American Arbitration Association, according to the bylaws for agents in the union.

Among Rimas’ clients are the Venezuelan catcher of the New York Mets, Francisco Álvarez; his teammate, the Dominican shortstop, Ronny Mauricio; the Venezuelan utilityman of the New York Yankees, Oswald Peraza; the Venezuelan shortstop of the Colorado Rockies, Ezequiel Tovar; and the Puerto Rican outfielder of the Washington Nationals, Eddie Rosario.

The company led by the urban exponent, for its part, indicated that it would not comment at this time.

“At Rimas Sports we maintain the highest standards of professionalism and integrity in our industry. Respecting the ongoing process, as provided in the MLBPA Agent Rules, we will reserve any comments related to the process at this time. “We remain committed to continuing to serve our clients with excellence,” he reacted in a written communication.
