Vikings to host unique NFL draft prospect on top 30 visit

The Vikings are set to host cornerback Qwan’Tez Stiggers who declared for the NFL draft not from college, but from the Canadian Football League’s Toronto Argonauts. He received scholarship offers coming out of high school but didn’t end up going for personal reasons.

He ventured up to Toronto for a tryout and made the Argonauts and didn’t just make the team, he won the CFL 2023 Most Outstanding Rookie Award. He ended up with 53 tackles and five interceptions in helping the Argonauts within one game of the Grey Cup.

How is he eligible for the NFL draft? Because he hasn’t gone through the process and is three or more years removed from high school, Stiggers is eligible. He shined at the Shrine Bowl and his athletic testing at 5116 came out really good with a RAS of 9.31. He could end up going as high as round three and looks the part of an NFL cornerback.
