Regardless of the outcome of the playoffs, the Mavericks will look for a way to improve the quality of their squad this summer, just to satisfy Luka Doncic’s ambitions. And a name starts to come up.
Facing the Clippers for this first round of the playoffs, the Mavericks are ambitious this year, with the firm intention of reaching the finals and why not the ring. Anything is possible with Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving, especially if both men perform at their best. But that doesn’t mean the front office isn’t already thinking about the future.
A big name as reinforcement for the Mavericks?
After all, surrounding Doncic has become a priority in Texas. The Slovenian wants to win everything and after a few seasons in the NBA, it is normal for Luka to ask for help in the squad. According to journalist Sam Amick, the name of Klay Thompson must be closely monitored since the guard will be a free agent. And we have to believe that Dallas could attempt an offensive.
