TOKYO (Japan) – Silver medal for Mauro Nespoli, who comes out defeated in a very balanced final against Gazoz. The 33-year-old Air Force athlete from Voghera was unable to overcome the 22-year-old Turk (who won 6-4) and was thus “satisfied” with second place.
Nespoli’s journey
Mauro Nespoli reached the final after defeating the German Florian Unruh in the quarter-finals 6-4 and repeating himself 6-2 in the semi-final against the Taiwanese Chih-Chun Tang.
