The foreign ministers of Arab countries, Central Asian countries and Azerbaijan welcomed Tuesday in the final communiqué crowning the 3rd session of the Arab Economic and Cooperation Forum with the countries of Central Asia and the Azerbaijan, Algeria’s efforts to achieve reconciliation between the Palestinian factions, an initiative launched by the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune in 2022.
During this session held in Doha, the foreign ministers highlighted the role of Algeria and its efforts at the UN, in the service of the Palestinian cause, to allow Palestine to become a full member state of the United Nations.
They also welcomed the participation of several Arab countries and Azerbaijan in the Summit of Gas Exporting Countries (GECF), held on March 2 in Algiers, welcoming in this regard the inauguration of the headquarters of the Institute of gas research (GRI) in Algiers.
