Mr. Merk, you are a fan 1. FC Kaiserslautern. Do you go to the stadium normally today and curse the referee like everyone else?
Of course, I’m really happy that our club reached the DFB Cup final! This is good for the Palatinate and the people. I always see football as a whole: for me, the referee is just one aspect of it that ideally contributes to ensuring that people in the stadium have positive experiences. That’s what it’s all about.
