It’s not the best of days for world vice champion Andreas Reiterer (Telmekom Team Südtirol), fresh from his success two weeks ago in the demanding Chianti Ultra Trail, who runs with the leading pair in the initial part but then loses ground and finishes fourteenth in 6h28:07.

Among the women there is the solo success of Camilla Magliano ( Gs Orecchiella Garfagnana), winner on arrival with a time of 6h18:16. The Turin native, involved in such a long race for the first time, demonstrates that she is at ease in this specialty with less than two months left until the continental event in Annecy, France, from 31 May to 2 June.
In the final, Giuditta Turini (Pol. Sant’Orso Aosta, 6h24:53) takes second place, overtaking Chiara Giovando (Pegarun, 6h28:16), Martina Chialvo emerges in fourth place (Pod. Valle Varaita, 6h41:31) followed by Giulia Marchesoni (Us Carisolo, 6h46:12) and Veronica Maran (Skyrunners Le Vigne Vicenza, 6h54:29), retired at the 25th km Martina Valmassoi (Limonese) on a Sunday with cool temperatures in the morning and warmer weather in the second part of competition.
