Manchester United ready to sell the vast majority of its workforce

According to The Telegraph, the Mancunian club is looking to sell almost its entire squad to repay major purchases from previous seasons.

In the absence of the Champions League next season, the management of Manchester United is moving towards a summer cleaning of its workforce. Apart from the nuggets Alejandro Garnacho, Kobbie Mainoo and Rasmus Højlund, who have proven themselves this season and whose youth remains an asset, no element of the Red Devils is untouchable. The departures of executives like Bruno Fernandes, Harry Maguire, Marcus Rashford or Casemiro cannot therefore be ruled out due to the significant inflow of money that they could allow.

In recent years, the Glazer brothers have spent significant sums witharrived in 2023 of Højlund (74 million euros), Mason Mount (64 million euros), Onana (50 million euros) or even Antony the previous season for 95 million euros. They hope to recover part of it.

Manchester United is going through a particularly complicated and uncertain season.
