‘Locked On Celtics’: Porzingis’ Boston is having one of the best regular seasons in team history

When Kristaps Porzingis was traded and Drew Holiday joined the team later, no one hid that the goal of this Celtics team is not the number of wins in the regular season. The goal is Boston’s 18th championship.

However, John Karalis called with his colleague Tom Westerholm to take stock of what the team has already achieved. Not every title-winning team in Boston reached 60 regular-season wins (the 82-game regular season began in 1967-68, when the Celtics had already won nine titles).

Karalis especially wanted to mention the happiest person in the NBA – Kristaps Porzingis. Every time John meets the Unicorn, Kristaps smiles, claps his eyes, winks.

Westerholm reminded that this season it has been a pleasure not only to count the victories in the tournament table, but also to enjoy how the “Celtics” play.

“It’s not championship titles, you don’t need to hang a banner on the ceiling of the arena, but let’s appreciate what this team has achieved,” emphasized Karalis.

And let’s not forget – Boston still has six games left in the regular season, meeting the Sacramento Kings at home on Saturday night Latvian time.
