After having seen its decision, at first instance, to sanction Monaco for the loss of its match against Strasbourg (92-78) during the 26th day of Betclic Élite (March 24) for having aligned Jaron Blossomgame and coach Sasa Obradovic – both excluded in the semi-finals of the Coupe de France – challenged by the appeal chamber of the French Federation (FFBB), the National League (LNB) ratified the decision rendered on appeal on Wednesday.
“The CJDR has decided not to initiate sanctions against AS Monaco Basket. Consequently, AS Monaco Basket retains its sporting victory against SIG Strasbourg,” the LNB communicated in order to close the case.
