A little more information on this matter was revealed by “Przegląd Sportowy”. As journalists reported, Legia decided to take a surprising step. In the past, in the case of similar premature terminations, it paid the trainers’ salaries until they found a new employer.
Now it’s supposed to be different. “The German coach had a contract until June 2026 and apparently, regardless of whether he takes up a job somewhere else, the entire amount due will be paid to him in three tranches: the first will be released soon, the second in the middle of the period remaining until the end of the terminated contract (i.e. after the 2024 season). /25), and the third one at the end,” we read. This information caused quite a storm on the Internet and elsewhere. Legia activists were also surprised by the reports and quickly decided to deny the rumors. This information is called nonsense,” we read.

The capital club has already found a new coach. It was Goncalo Feio. His hiring was as shocking a decision as Runjaic’s firing.
