The upward trend of Lee So-hee and Baek Hana, who won the All England Open, the most prestigious badminton tournament last month, continued in the early stages of today’s game. It seemed like they would win easily, taking a comfortable 18-9 lead midway through the first set.

However, the Zhang Shuxian-Zheng Wei team was also formidable. They had a fierce chase, scoring 7 consecutive points, and as a result, the game went to deuce.

Fortunately, Lee So-hee and Baek Hana did not lose concentration. First, they succeeded in taking the lead by winning two points and taking the first set at 23-21. Afterwards, they continued their fierce attack in the second set, and thus faced the championship.

Meanwhile, mixed doubles Seo Seung-jae and Chae Yu-jeong (World No. 4) lost to Feng Yan-ze and Huang Dongping (China, No. 3) in the final held on the same day with a game score of 1-2 (21-13 15-21 14-21). .
