Kings Dominate Jazz in 127-106 Victory

SACRAMENTO, California, USA. —

Harrison Barnes scored 24 points and was instrumental in Sacramento’s big third-quarter run that led the Kings to a 127-106 victory over the Utah Jazz on Sunday night.

Keegan Murray had 25 points to lead the Kings. De’Aaron Fox contributed 24 and 12 assists and Domantas Sabonis contributed 17 points and 11 rebounds for his 57th consecutive double-double. That helped the Kings complete a three-game series sweep of Utah, doing so for the first time against the Jazz since the 2001-02 season.

Sacramento is tied for seventh in the Western Conference with Phoenix, but remains two games behind sixth-place Dallas in the race to avoid being part of the play-in tournament.

Brice Sensabaugh and Collin Sexton each scored 22 points for the Jazz, who have lost nine straight games. Utah has lost 11 in a row on the road and hasn’t won on the road since Jan. 27 in Charlotte.

Both teams were limited in personnel, with Sacramento missing Kevin Huerter (shoulder) and sixth man Malik Monk (knee). Utah was without three of its top four scorers in its lineup: Jordan Clarkson (back), Lauri Markkanen (shoulder) and John Collins (back).
