Judo self-defense course in Emden on March 11th, 2024 with Frank Lambrecht (NJV speaker for Judo-SV)
At the SV course in Emden, in addition to lever techniques and throws from judo, stick fighting and knife defense were also trained.
The program was primarily about effective self-defense. This was demonstrated effectively and effectively by Frank. The lecturer presented a variety of Ju-Jutsu techniques that can also be used across systems in Judo. For many participants, this created a bridge between competition and popular sport as well as between sport and the real situation.
Judo-SV is also a possible part of the Dan grading system in the DJB.
In addition to lever techniques and throws from judo, stick fighting and knife defense were also trained, always with a focus on effective self-defense. After the strenuous day (and sometimes long journeys), the participants agreed that there was rarely such a varied and well-presented course that didn’t miss out on fun.
