This victory not only resulted in Jojo winning the title but also increasing his BWF ranking this week.

In the latest BWF ranking release on April 16 2024, Jonathan managed to move up two places from fifth to third in the world, displacing his compatriot, Anthony Sinisuka Ginting.

Ginting, which was previously in third place in the world, has now dropped four places to seventh in the world.
