Jannik Sinner Dominates to Reach Monte-Carlo Masters Quarterfinals

The Italian Jannik Sinner (No. 2 in the ATP ranking) defeated the German Jan-Lennard Struff (No. 25) by 6-4 and 6-2 to access the quarterfinals in the Monte-Carlo Masters 1000.

It was another great game for Sinner, showing that the change of surface does not prevent him from continuing to demonstrate all his power. Three aces, 14 winners and 10 unforced errors in just over an hour of play.

In addition, the Italian became the third player to reach this stage in each of the first four Grand Slam or Masters 1000 events of the season before turning 23, after Rafael Nadal (2007, 2008 and 2009) and Novak Djokovic (2009).
