Last Saturday, the field of the Los Mosquitos sports center in Arroyomolinos hosted the IV charity basketball tournament in favor of the Quinta Foundation, which works to care for people with autism. The good atmosphere, the sporting spirit and the desire to support a charitable cause were the true protagonists of a day in which six women’s teams and three men’s teams fought on the hardwood to win the champion trophy in the two veteran categories.
Beyond the fact that in an event of this nature the final result is relegated, the César Legends Bar in Madrid achieved victory among the women after demonstrating clear superiority over the rest of the rivals, especially in the inside game. The podium was completed with the second place of CB Navalcarnero, which achieved a creditable second position, and with the Villanueva de la Cañada team, which won the bronze medal.
In the men’s category, the clear winner of the tournament was Familia Monster Boadilla, which imposed its law on the sports center’s hardwood in a triangle in which the local Lions Basket team was runner-up and Mundosport Arroyomolinos obtained third place.
