Could Tom Brady come out of retirement … again?

The 46-year-old Brady seemingly has his post-playing career already lined up — with the seven-time Super Bowl winner set to begin the first season of his 10-year, $375 million contract with Fox as the network’s lead NFL color analyst.

But the Patriots legend isn’t completely ruling out a return to the gridiron.

In a recent appearance on the “DeepCut with VicBlends” podcastBrady was asked if he’d ever entertain a scenario where he’d weigh yet another NFL comeback.

Here is the full exchange from VicBlends and Brady.

Let’s say one day there’s a situation,” VicBlends asked. “Maybe it’s the 49ers, maybe you know headed to the playoffs, offense is great…

“Patriots,” Brady interjected. “Could be Raiders, could be, you never know.”

“God forbid somebody goes down, VicBlends continued. “Would you pick up that phone?”

“I’m not opposed to it. I don’t know if they’re going to let me if I become an owner of an NFL team. But I don’t know if — I don’t know,” Brady said. “I’m always going to be in good shape, always be able to throw the ball. So, to come in for a little bit, like [Michael Jordan] coming back; I don’t know if they would let me, but I wouldn’t be opposed to it.”

Brady had some fun with his comeback tease on X, especially after the Patriots posted a throwback photo of their longtime signal-caller while sporting longer hair during his 2010 MVP season.

Brady reposted the picture with a tease of his own.

“50K likes and I’ll unretire grow it back out,” Brady posted.

Considering Brady’s competitive nature, it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise that the former QB would breathe life back into another comeback attempt. Of course, it could be a bit of posturing from Brady when it comes to another one of his post-playing career pursuits — owning a minority stake in the Las Vegas Raiders.

Under league rules, NFL players are not allowed to have an ownership stake in a franchise. Brady is reportedly in line to purchase close to 10% of the Raiders in a deal with owner Mark Davis — but the acquisition hasn’t been approved by the rest of the league’s owners.

“I wouldn’t say it’s a delay. We go through a very thorough process. … We’re just going through our process,” NFL commissioner Roger Goodell told reporters at the annual league meeting last month. “We’ve been in touch with their side. I think it’s been making progress.”
