CORINALDO – On the occasion of the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace included in the context of e-Sister-e, an initiative was organized in Corinaldo on 6 April in collaboration with the Santa Maria Goretti International Studies Centre. The guest of the afternoon was Lucrezia Lando, a well-known face from the dance show Ballando con le Stelle, who arrived in Corinaldo with her partner Lorenzo Tano. The two began with an extensive tour that touched the most evocative places of the village, including history, art and culture.
The Sports Hall of the Primary School was the scene of judo, volleyball and five-a-side football performances organized by local sports associations, with a performance by the “Araba Fenice” music and flag-waving group from Corinaldo. The guests then met the dance and artistic gymnastics associations who spoke with the professional dancer Lucrezia Lando and presented short performances of their activity. The day ended in the evening at the Goldoni Theater with an evocative and exciting performance by the schools of dance and artistic gymnastics.
Thanks go to the associations that contributed on this day: Focus Gym, GDO Gruppo Danza Oggi, Mi la Danse, My dance, Dance Floor – Pro Corinaldo Skating, Judo Polisportiva Senigallia, Pallavolo Corinaldo, Corinaldo Calcio a 5 and the Araba Fenice group. Large public presence at various times in the afternoon and evening, testifying to the success of the event and the occasion was also useful for promoting Corinaldo through content created by the guests, in collaboration with the regional staff of Fondazione Marche Cultura and other partners media present at the event.
