Inter won the Serie A title in a Milan derby in the cold and pouring rain. They won 2-1 against AC Milan, meaning that Simone Inzaghi’s team can no longer be traced five games before the end.

With this title, Inter now has twenty championships, which means a second star on the shirt for next season. That star will feel extra good, because city rivals AC Milan have one. The Red Blacks remain at nineteen titles for the time being.

Tijjani Reijnders was the only Dutchman with a starting position, he started in midfield at Milan. Denzel Dumfries, Stefan de Vrij and Davy Klaassen all started on the bench at Inter. Dumfries and De Vrij came on, Dumfries received a red card in the limited playing time he had.
