Inclusive Judo and Martial Arts School Offers Adapted Sports Event for Individuals with Disabilities

The Inclusive Judo and Martial Arts School association (Eijam) offers judo and chanbara lessons (fun fights with foam weapons) for children, at the town’s dojo every Wednesday morning.

“The association also runs sports sessions adapted to participants with disabilities, underlines Aurélie Steiner, the president. In this Olympic and Paralympic year, and because sport is a source of health and well-being for all, the association has organized an adapted sports event for people with disabilities (individuals and medico-social establishments). »

Challenges were offered to the thirty participants on Monday. The good atmosphere was there. Everyone was able to surpass themselves and return home with their medal and, above all, a smile. Given the success of this event, the association plans to organize a new sports day adapted to Mouen.
