Gallinari Sidelined Again in Game 2: A Look at Three NBA Playoff Matchups

Even in game 2, Gallinari remained on the bench to watch the others play

Three NBA playoff games were played during the night. After losing game 1, Dallas takes home the second act of the series with the LA Clippers (96-93 final). Despite Leonard’s return, the Los Angelesnians were unable to reach 2-0, thanks to Doncic’s inaccurate shooting (11/26 from the field) but decisive in the hot moments of the match. The Slovenian finished with 32 points, to which he also added nine assists.

Also Indiana’s fault as they tied the score with Milwaukee in a game 2 in which the Pacers dominated (125-108 in the final), led by an unstoppable Siakam (37 points and 1 rebound). Still without Antetokounmpo, the Bucks relied on Lillard who responded with 34 total points (26 in the first half), not enough to avoid defeat.

Even in game 2, Gallinari remained on the bench to watch the others play. As in game 1, the blue player didn’t even take the field for a minute. As of today, he is out of the Bucks’ rotations.

Another collapse, however, for Phoenix who, also in game 2, surrendered to Minnesota (final 105-93). Excellent performance by McDaniels who scored 25 points. Less explosive than usual Edwards (15 points with 3/12 from the field). Badly, at the Suns, all three of the big three: Durant 18, Booker 20 and Beal 18. Furthermore, the injury to Allen further complicates Phoenix’s comeback plans.
