HOKA Skyward X, the news for daily training

The Skyward X, characterized by extreme softness and fluidity, was designed to cover kilometers with ease. This model combines the principles of the brand’s maximalist design together with a revolutionary suspension system thanks to innovative materials and extreme geometries.

Maximum cushioning and carbon technology

The HOKA team focused on maximum cushioning and carbon technology when creating the Skyward X, using a mix of foams, plates and geometries. These include the PEBA-based Active Foot Frame™ that secures the foot within the midsole, Hoka’s signature MetaRocker™ for added stability and a smooth start, and a combination of soft foams underfoot . Together, these elements deliver a dynamic, lively, cushioned and naturally stable ride, designed to make daily workouts easier and more effortless.

An unprecedented training experience

For an unprecedented training experience, the new Skyward X was designed with a revolutionary cushioning system that activates with every step. A three-dimensionally developed convex carbon fiber plate on the heel compresses and expands again step by step, offering an extraordinary sensation of stability. The plate is positioned between a PEBA-based Active Foot Frame™ at the top and an EVA structure applied via an innovative process.

The soft, flexible top layer directly under your foot provides a smooth, cushioned ride, while the firm, supportive bottom layer provides a stable base. Together with the MetaRocker™, the system is designed to ensure effortless suspension and a smooth ride.

Flat fabric upper with zoned structure

Thanks to the new flat fabric upper with zoned structure, the Skyward X offers a comfortable fit. The external molded TPU heel reinforcement offers greater stability, while the Ghillie lacing system allows for a more comfortable lockdown of the midfoot. Weighing in at 261g for the women’s size 8 and 320g for the men’s size 10, the Skyward
