But you did not succeed in the first third. What did you say to each other after her?
That we can’t play like this. It was absolutely terrible, we were losing 1:3 for no reason. Then we leveled up and started playing the hockey we know how to play. We scored goals there from chances that normally would not end up in the goal. I guess luck was on our side, then we finished the match.

Losing by two goals, also away. You have endured a very difficult situation.
In the season, we managed more such moments. We know that we can close matches. When you play well, luck favors you. We know what kind of players we have in the dressing room and what we can do. If we play well, it doesn’t matter what the result is. We are confident that we can turn games around.
You yourself made it for the first time in the series. Did you expect Tomáš Hyka to return the puck to you during the break?
A little yes, I always have to expect that from him. I didn’t play very well on him, he couldn’t shoot, so I counted on that. Goals are expected from us and I’m glad that everyone is contributing. This time our formation prevailed, so it’s pleasing.

How did you surpass Litvínov?
The depth of our team. If we don’t score goals, someone else will. The play off is about how the players work for each other. I don’t score goals, so I block shots and sacrifice myself for the team. Each line can decide. This is our great strength and it was the big difference compared to Litvínov.
After the match, Dynamo owner Petr Dědek also came to the cabin. What did he tell you?
He just congratulated us and thanked us for the series. That’s pretty much it.
You have 11 days off before the final. Will it be an advantage?
It may be a small advantage, but we will see how the second semi-final will look like.
Will you be watching Třinec with Sparta?
I’ll probably take a look, but not watch at all. Both teams are good, so whoever advances will be tough in the final.
