The teams of Priyanna Ramdhani/Mishka Beharry, Nkosi Beaton/Frank Waddell, and Khalil siblings Ashley and Jason-Ray were among the winners when the Guyana Badminton Association Easter Championship commenced on Thursday evening at the National Gymnasium, Mandela Avenue.
In the women’s doubles segment, the team of Ramdhani/ Beharry defeated Anna Perreira and Ashley Khalil 21-15, 21-17. In the men’s doubles section, the combination of Beaton/Waddell brushed aside Vinai Datt/Mohamed Farouk 21-6, 21-3.
Meanwhile, in the mixed doubles division, Jason Khalil/Ashley Khalil crushed Yonneil Benjamin/Aaliyah Bacchus 21-9, 21-2.
