América de Cali was winning 1-0 in Palmaseca at the end of the first half and when referee Wilmar Roldán was going to continue with the second half, the disturbances in the stands were the protagonists, as there were firecrackers on the field and that meant that the complement was not immediate .

After several minutes of uncertainty as to whether it was being played or not, the comments of journalist Carlos Antonio Vélez during the television broadcast on Win Sports were immediate and he constantly felt disappointed by those embarrassing events that he was observing.

When he saw that the match was extended and did not restart, Vélez began to utter forceful phrases, making it clear that he was not going to wait until late for a match, so he asked the referees to act quickly so as not to make them wait so long.

“Until what hours, until they feel like it?… Shall we wait until tomorrow?” was one of Vélez’s phrases during the broadcast.

Likewise, the commentator described what he was seeing as embarrassing and even left for a few minutes until the game resumed, saying that he was preparing to talk about a soccer game and not about riots or cases far from it.

His comments were echoed on social networks and there were many reactions that were trending.
