During and shortly after the Bundesliga game at Eintracht Frankfurt (1:2) on December 20, 2023, a total of six Bengali torches were lit in the Borussia Mönchengladbach fan block.
Borussia has now been sentenced to a fine of 6,000 euros by the DFB sports court for the “unsporting behavior” of its supporters.
The club can use up to 2,000 euros of this for security or violence prevention measures, which would have to be proven to the DFB by September 30, 2024.
The association has agreed to the judgment and it is therefore legally binding.
