Easter was full of floorball. And the spectators were certainly not bored in the Livesport Superliga semi-final matches. The draw between Vítkovice and Mlada Boleslaví is 2:2. Boleslav won 6:3 in the third match, but a day later they squandered a two-goal lead and fell in overtime. The second series also offered two interesting encounters. Chodov forced a fifth match with a good performance and a 7:4 win. In it, he will avoid elimination, because he lost the fourth game at home 3:7.
Boleslav had a great start to the match in the third semi-final and led 3:0 after the first part. Vítkovic were still able to get back into the match. At the end of the 50th minute, Rostislav Gattnar reduced the difference to one goal. The home team then started to play without a goalkeeper quite quickly and conceded twice. Boleslav thus confirmed its victory and took the lead in the series.
Also on Easter Monday, Joonas Naava’s men had a well played game. After the first 20 minutes they were leading 3:1 and during the second part it was 4:2 for a while. But Vítkovice managed to equalize and then responded to the leader of their former player Adam Delong. Adam Zubek secured the equalizer seven minutes before the end.
In overtime, an open game was played with a happy ending for Ostrava. Rostislav Gattnar scored after a nice pass from Michal Pažák, completing a hat trick and leveling the series at 2:2. The fifth match will take place on Wednesday from 6 pm in Mladá Boleslav.

The third duel of the semi-final series with Tatran was excellent for Chodov. Goalkeeper Karel Hodík made a great save, the elite Chodov formation performed admirably, namely defender Marek Matoušek, who netted two goals, and matador Tom Ondrušek, who contributed to his team’s victory with three imaginative assists. Gunner Marek Vávra added two goals. Except for exceptions, Chodov defended the most dangerous Střešov formation led by Marko Beneš and deservedly won 7:4.
However, the current season’s hegemon Tatran did not allow any further hesitation a day later, although Chodov was able to bite in the third act. From the 22nd to the 41st minute, the Střešovič team scored five goals in a row and went on to win. The team from Jižní Město reduced the score thanks to three goals, but the players of Tatran did not let the victory be taken away. They won 7:3 and on Wednesday they can celebrate their promotion to the super final at home. Otherwise, the series would once again return to South City.

It is tied after two games of the 2nd round of play down. Pardubice first squandered a 3:1 lead when Butchis striker Jan Waldhauser could enjoy a clean hat trick. His third goal came in extra time, and so Prague won 4:3 at the start of the fight for the play-off. In the rematch, the Butchis players pulled the short end of the stick from the start and ended up losing 5:9. Milan Bína from Pardubice presented himself with four goals. The third meeting is scheduled for Saturday.
