Mother’s happiness for the former ÖSV ski racer Eva-Maria Brem. As the Tyrolean announced on Instagram on Wednesday, she gave birth to her son Leo on April 4th.
This is the first child for Austria’s Athlete of the Year 2016 and her long-term partner. “From the stomach and right into the heart. Welcome to the world, little Leo. Mom and Dad are super grateful and overjoyed,” writes Brem in her posting.
Brem ended her career in 2021. In 2015 she won gold with the team at the World Championships in Vail/Beaver Creek. The 35-year-old celebrated three victories in the World Cup and secured the small crystal ball in the giant slalom in 2016.
