Like last year, Alexander Erler/Lucas Miedler lost the double final of the ATP 250 tournament in Marrakech.
The ÖTV duo, seeded number two, lost to Harri Heliövaara/Henry Patten (FIN/GBR-4) 6:3, 4:6, 4:10 on Saturday. Erler/Miedler missed the chance to win their sixth tournament and lost their second final this year after Rio de Janeiro at the end of February.
In Estoril, Sam Weissborn and his Monegasque partner Romain Arneodo were eliminated in the semi-finals. The duo lost to the second seeded Frenchmen Sadio Doumbia/Fabien Reboul 3:6, 6:7 (3).
