The regular season is over, now on to the post season. Here’s how Dunkest Fantasy Basketball works for the NBA Playoffs.

They are about to start Playoff NBA 2024 and we will not leave you alone. The Dunkest’s NBA fantasy basketball also continues for the Playoffs with a different formula specifically designed to make the post season even more exciting.
What happens to your fantasy teams as the Playoffs begin? How will fantasy basketball work at this stage of the season? However, if you are a new player, we recommend that you start with the Rules.
Let’s see briefly fundamental points which characterize Dunkest’s NBA Fantasy Basketball for the Playoffs.
1) Da Regular Season a Playoff
Regular Season and Playoffs in Dunkest’s NBA Fantasy Basketball are considered two separate phases of the season.
Starting April 15thor from the end of the Regular Season, updating the app inside the menu you will find the possibility to select the two phases of the championship.
Here’s what happens based on your selection:
- Regular Season: you will view the situation of your fantasy teams once the Regular Season is over. Here you can consult your scores and your position in the various main or private championships at any time.
- Playoff: here you will be able to manage your fantasy teams and your championships for the final phase of the season, in which we all start from scratch, as explained below. The NBA Playoffs begin April 20.
2) We start from scratch
With the start of the Post Season everything starts from scratch from April 15th you can freely create your fantasy teams:
- kill him fantasy teams they will have to be recreated from scratch.
- Il credit budget will start again from 95 credits or 105 for those who renew the purchase of the 10 additional credits (MVP + Season Pass at €11.99, MVP at €9.99 and Season Pass at €3.99)
- Each fantasy team will be able to contain a maximum 4 players belonging to the same team (which becomes 6 with the start of the Finals).
- The player ratings will be reviewed and adapted to the new credits available and the performances expected in the Playoffs.
- Il cost for each trade (classic mode) goes from -5 to -2 points.
- The teams on the calendar but indicated as rested teams they will take their average score (all players on the roster, including injured ones, and the Coach). This aims to optimize the NBA calendar in the best possible way. Eat per regular seasonthe players who for calendar reasons will take the average score, from this season, if put captainthey will NOT take the bonus of x1.5 of their score.
- The teams NOT on the calendar (players, coaches and unavailable) will NOT be considered “rested teams” and will NOT take their average score but 0 points. The teams not on the calendar are obviously those eliminated or those already qualified who are waiting for the opponent to face in the next round of the Playoffs.
3) Championships
Also for the championships, as well as for the Draftit’s a new beginning:
- I Major Championships (General and Italy) will be reset, all fantasy teams will restart from 0pt.
- I Public and Private Championships will have to be recreated.
4) Calendar
Given the frequency of the matches, the fantabasket calendar changes slightly for the Playoffs. Indeed:
- Everything is fine Day of Fantasy Basketball will be shorter and will last on average 2 rounds (i.e. 2 days), but there will also be days with just 1 round.
- At the end of each day it will be possible as always to carry out Trades to improve the team
- All the matches of the Playoffs will be valid for scoring purposes
- The Players and Coaches of Teams not present in the calendar of a Matchday (generally because they may not be on the pitch on those days), they do not receive a capital loss
IMPORTANT: the calendar of Day 1 of the NBA Playoffs will initially be “fictitious” until the official dates of the games are available. Afterwards, it will be updated every day based on the results of the night.
5) Award
Also for the Playoffs, as indicated in the regulations, there will be prizes for all those who prove to be the best, in fact the Fantacoaches who place from first to tenth position in the general Playoffs ranking will be rewarded.

6) Advantages
As indicated in the Regulations, gaming advantages purchased during the Regular Season are valid until the end of the same. With the start of the Playoffs it will therefore be necessary to make a new purchase.
Il Season PassHowever, if purchased during the regular season it also remains valid for the Playoffs.
