VITERBO – Domus Mulieris takes to the field this Sunday evening to face the last home match of their season. In fact, Pink Terni will arrive at PalaMalè in a match valid for the second return day of the playoffs in the Serie B basketball championship. Both teams, also thanks to the formula of this tournament, have no ambitions regarding the continuation of the journey and will therefore face each other in a match that will offer a symbolic fourth place in the group.
In the first leg, Umbria won 55-53 despite a good performance from Domus Mulieris who had led for most of the match. This time the group coached by coach Scaramuccia will try to take revenge, perhaps with at least a three point gap to overturn the goal difference.
“It’s the last match at home and we’d like to finish in the best possible way – comments the Gialloblù coach – perhaps with a victory that can be a reward for the season we’ve led. We had the playoffs as our objective and we achieved them, unfortunately in the first phase we were unable to win any match against the opponents in our own group and we found ourselves starting from scratch in a group that was too short to recover. However, we are confident that we can finish well in front of our fans, in the first leg we played on equal terms and only a pinch of clarity was missing at the end, this time we will try to be more attentive and determined”.
