Before the quarter-final encounter at the ATP Masters tournament in Monte Carlo, Alex de Minaur had good chances against world number one Novak Djokovic. After all, the Australian went into the last encounter in January at United with a 1-1 record and the feeling Having won the Cup in two sets, we went into the match.

Towards the end of the second act, Djokovic was able to increase his level a little and won 7:5, 6:4 after just over two hours.

In the semi-finals, the No. 1 seed in the tournament will meet the winner of the last quarter-final between the No. 8 seeded Norwegian Casper Ruud and the 14th seeded Frenchman Ugo Humbert.
