Elena Bertocchi she confirmed herself as the best performer in Italy from the springboard (1m), given the success with the score of 256.90 before Matilde Borello (238.80) ed Elisa Pizzini (229.95). Good in particular for Lombardy the execution of the inverted somersault and a half with a twist and a half of 55.90.
From the platform Sarah Jodoin DiMaria she respected the predictions and was the only athlete to break the 300 point barrier. For the Italian-Canadian the score of 318.94 before Maia Biginelli (281.50) and others Irene Pesce (253.20). For Jodoin Di Maria the last dive was convincing, i.e. the vertical with double back somersault with a twist and a half of 72.00, with an average of 7.5.
The final act of the men’s three-meter event closed the circle with the victory of Stefano Belotti (423.25) above Matteo Cafiero (412.80) e Francesco Porco (388.15). Only fourth Matteo Santoro with 388.05, conditioned by a serious error in the fifth rotation, i.e. in triple and half returned with which he only got 27.20 points. For Belotti, however, a decidedly good performance, with the exception of the soiling in the double somersault and a half forward with 2 pike twists (43.50), given the very high scores with the grouped triple and a half reverse (80.50), the quadruple and a half forward (83.60) and the triple and a half returned (79.90).
