Saturday was a difficult evening, in which Cairese and the Grizzlies Cubs faced each other in a match full of intensity and nervousness.
The match started immediately with a downturn for the Valbormidesi, who from the start managed to put a good level of baseball on the field and move ahead in the score. The red and whites seemed fully in control, until the Turin team, thanks to some excellent extra-base hits, managed to recover points in the partial.
At this point nervousness and tension reigned supreme and the Cairese team was unable to react in the usual way. Too many distractions and errors made in the final part of the match, which led to the final defeat 11 to 10.
There was a lot of disappointment at the end of the match on the part of the Valbormides, especially for not being able to react in the best way, and for not being sharp and clear at the score of 9 to 2 when they should have continued to play aggressively.
A prompt reaction is expected already in the next match on Sunday, in the difficult trip to Mondovì.
