The men’s competitions

Today the Italian beat the Dutch Roeffen 6-4, the German Tartler again 6-4 and the Ukrainian Chebotarenko 6-2 one after the other.
Tatiana Andreoli reaches the quarter-finals, first beating the Australian Grzemski 7-1, then the Greek Psarra 7-1 and the German Idensen 6-0, but is stopped by the other German Bauer 6-2. The Teutonic archer previously defeated Roberta Di Francesco who, before the round of 16, had won 6-0 with Ng (SGP) and 7-3 with the Dutch Ven de Ven. Lucilla Boari was also out in the round of 16, defeated 6- 0 by the Turkish Gokkir after the victories over the Spanish Altuna in the shoot-off 6-5 (9-8) and 7-3 over the Georgian Gvinchidze.
Tomorrow, Saturday 6 April, the team and mixed team preliminaries will take place. The Italian trio made up of Borsani, Musolesi and Nespoli will face Belgium in the round of 16 (Carbonetti, De Smedt, Gilson). In the women’s competition Boari, Andreoli and Rebagliati will challenge Moldavia (Berzan, Clima, Mirca). In the mixed Nespoli and Rebagliati they will be on the firing line in the round of 16 against Georgia (Kharshiladze, Basiladze).
