The couple formed by Daniel Berná and José Manuel Pardo from Soriano will defend the title starting this Tuesday in the XX PGA of Spain Doubles Championship at the Izki Golf public course.

On this field designed by Seve Ballesteros, the same one where Berná and Pardo won the title last year, they will seek to follow in the footsteps of the last two-time champions, Miguel Ángel Jiménez and Andrés Jiménez, who achieved it in 2006 and 2007.

The tournament will take place under a unique format in the TUMI PGA Spain Golf Tour calendar, being the only circuit pairs tournament and only two days of competition (Tuesday, April 2 and Wednesday, April 3).

The championship has exceeded all expectations, with 138 registered in a week without important international competitions, which has facilitated the creation of a luxury lineup that will feature 7 players from the European DP World Tour with a full card, who together have 19 victories; 16 Challenge Tour winners who between them have 33 victories; an Asian Tour winner; and three golfers from the European Legends Senior who have 4 victories.
